We’re living through strange unprecedented times and we are all trying to navigate. This blog is edited with up to date information on weddings in Ireland and what are the changes due to the current Covid-19 pandemic and how we can help from our side.
There is not much clarity provided by the government in regards to when and how weddings can take place again in Ireland. More than 3000 people have signed a petition calling on the government to be more transparent.
Small weddings will be permitted in phase 4 which scheduled for after July 20th. Larger weddings will be permitted in phase 5, which is scheduled for after August 10th. Beyond maintaining social distancing there has been no further guidance by Government on the restrictions or on what constitutes a small or large wedding.

The truth is that Covid 19 has disrupted the wedding industry. Our advice? Be prepared and follow the news closely, maintain conversation with your vendors and guests.
It is important to have and develop a Plan B back-up date if you plan to postpone your wedding. Demand for 2021 dates are high, and you should not wait too long to contact a vendor. It is important to remember that you do have options, contact your vendors and ask for guidance.
